As I've mentioned before, my hometown Phoenix, Arizona is home to some very talented photographers, one of whom is longtime friend Karen Shell. This post, however, is not about Karen's wonderful photography but her most recent accomplishment, climbing Mt. Rainier! Karen has been in our thoughts and prayers this past week and today I recieved this email message and photo link. It's such an amazing accomplishment I just had to share it.
"I'm safely back from Mt. Rainier. I made it to the summit! What an experience! It was more challenging than I could have imagined. Every muscle in my body is really sore. I'm glad I trained as much as I did. Take a look at some of the photos..."
